Lovely Hotel with a feel thats like home from home

Bolton, England, United Kingdom

Really Lovely quaint hotel in a prime location 15 mins walk from Bridgetown and right across the road from the lovely beach, we got up to see the race horses swimming one morning at 7am it was really lovely to watch. We did the beach party at Harbour lights that was a lovely night out and only down the road from the hotel. The island jeep safari is a fab trip to do takes you to all the lovely locations and spots of interest on the island. Harrison caves is another must do tour, we also did st nicholas abbey and a botanical gardens they were both lovely and interesting. Basheba beach is a beautiful location to have your photo taken with the little green monkey for a small tip of course. We loved Island the staff were always on hand and nothing was to much trouble, even down to the reception staff Doris, Angela and Carol breaking our larger notes down into smaller bills. Earl, Hussani and Dane are great behind the bar, ready on hand to make you any cocktail you would like. The food in the restuarant is delicious and we could not find one meal we did not like, thanks Jeanette, Annette, Maxine and Ricia for always getting my hubby his strawberry icecream for dessert. Wouldnt hesitate in reccomending this place and hopefully we will be back next year.

Small hotel with cosy feel

Keelby, United Kingdom

This coming year will be our 4th stay.We Felt This Hotel has a cosy atmosphere ,more authentic than the larger chain hotels nearby. We didn’t want the razzmatazz that goes with the bigger hotels where you could be anywhere in the world. This has a more Caribbean atmosphere. The staff have a sense of humour which we appreciate. The pool is small but the hotel sits just across the road from one of the most beautiful beaches in Barbados.Interesting places to visit nearby within walking distance of the Race Course..a real family occasion! We are looking forward to December..feel as if we are returning to The Island Inn family.Recommend to those seeking a quiet relaxing holiday with plenty of fun to had if you want it.
