Rustic charm and island hopping

Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour Marina is located close to the centre of town in Marsh Harbour, where short ferry rides take you to the neighbouring cays, including historic Hope Town and Man-O-War Cay, the boat building capital of the Bahamas.

The oceanfront rooms and residences are vibrant, with native island furnishings and vibrant colours and tropical decor. From the balcony gaze out to the Sea of Abaco and watch passing yachts and fishing boats glide across the shimmering waters.

This laid back resort epitomises Bahamian life, spend the days exploring the islands or out at sea and the evenings relaxing in the cool evening breeze on the water front. For younger guests there is the opportunity to mix with local Bahamian children and learn about island life.

  • Range of land and water activities
  • Unique children's activities

Friendly staff

knoxville tennessee

We visited this resort in February. We had to find a hotel at the last minute due to boat problems. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The grounds were very pretty with a calm swimable beach. The restaurant was a little pricey but that is the Abacos! We had a direct water view from our room. There were restaurants near by that were in walking distance.

Don't Book It!

Denver, North Carolina

What a run down property. Nothing has been done to up date or maintain this property in years. I wouldn't pay $70 a night for it let alone over $300. My husband took a shower last night before going out for dinner. It's now after 9 am and the shower has not yet drained. The staff at the pool bar could not care less that you walked up for a drink. It took a half hour to get our first drink. I know we are on island time but dang, on top of it the drink was so dang weak it was ridiculous. And it wasn't just the first drink but the second as well. My feet are black from the slick greasy room floor (obviously sunscreen). Seriously the most expensive place on the island is a dump.
