Western Australia – Things to do

Western Australia Attractions

Kings Park & Botanic Garden

Kings Park & Botanic Garden offers a quiet oasis just outside the vibrant city of Perth. It’s home to over 13,000 species of plants and stretches out over miles of beautiful parklands. Take in views of the city and the sea, marvel at the ancient Baobab tree and see the colourful birds which call the area home.

Make the most of the coastline

Western Australia is home to pristine white sandy beaches where you can spend long lazy days relaxing on loungers. Explore underwater with snorkelling and scuba diving excursions or swim with sharks and spot pods of dolphins as they play in the waves. The best time to see dolphins and sharks is during the summer months when the ocean’s supply of fish is more plentiful.

Wave Rock

The magnificent Wave Rock has been carved smooth from stone by the rain and wind, to create an impressive smooth structure ideal for activities and resembling a large wave. Stretching up to 14km high, across 110m, it’s surrounded by bush filled with wildflowers and offers some spectacular views. Nearby is Hippo’s Yawn, where you can see orchids and native flowers in bloom, as well as the Pioneer Museum.
