The most perfect vacation!

This was our second visit- our first was for our honeymoon five years ago. We could not have been more impressed. Manchebo is hands-down the best resort we have been to. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful- especially Harold in the Chophouse, and the waitress who works the beach at Pega Pega. The food is absolutely top notch. The facilities we thought were nice the first time we came, and then they went through and made a bunch of improvements and it’s even more gorgeous. Didn’t think it was possible! It never feels crowded, we never had to wait for a table, worry about getting the dinner reservation time we wanted, or worry about getting a palapa. It was quiet, and the beach and the water are absolutely immaculate. The whole stay was just luxury and relaxation from the second we checked in from the second we left. Also, it was our anniversary and they left special treats in our room when we checked in, I nearly cried! We are already counting down to our next visit.

This is the property to stay at when in Aruba

Raleigh, North Carolina

This was our first time to the island and first time to Manchebo Beach. We really enjoyed staying here and the staff at Manchebo is the reason. Everything ran really smoothly and everyone was always quick with a smile and friendly greeting. Rebecca at Ike's Bistro was especially friendly and helpful. The first night, we ate at Omakase Sushi Bar and had pretty good sushi with excellent service. We ate at Ike's Bistro for breakfast the next morning. The breakfast food was decent, but the service and ocean view were even better. The beach area was great because I never felt it was too crowded, the white sand beach was nice to walk on and the ocean water was crystal clear. We were interested to see that the sand drops off pretty quickly and you can go from knee level to shoulder level to not being able to touch the bottom in a few steps! We also enjoyed the couples massage at Spa del Sol on the property. This is a well run spa and they did a wonderful job. We really enjoyed our experience at the spa and wish we could have enjoyed it more often! Upon leaving the resort and getting back home, I was disheartened to realize that I had left a valuable item behind. Amazingly, I was contacted by the resort and they shipped the item back to me! What wonderful service - during and even AFTER the stay! One last experience I want to describe is the Cooking Class. My wife and I signed up and it turned out that we were the only two who did (everyone else was enjoying the beaches!). We got a behind-the-scenes tour of one of the kitchens from Chef Sandro and Chef Joyce. They were so friendly and had lots of great information. We are not complete strangers to cooking, but it was fun and interesting to learn to cook some local foods. We have even made the dessert (Kesio) upon returning home to share with the family. It was a great time and all of us (the chefs and us) sat down together to have lunch with what we made during the class. I think it was a great value and one of the highlights of our time at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa.
