New to trip advisor because of this AMAZING hotel! ******

London, United Kingdom

My husband and I have just returned from a weeks stay at Blue Waters and I have signed up to TripAdvisor just so I can shout about how wonderful this hotel is. After a perfectly timed flight from Gatwick, 10.30am we arrived at 3pm and were met by a concierge service who whisked us through customs and collected our bags, the hotel sorted this out for us and were driven 20 mins to the hotel. Upon arrival a cool towel, rum punch and a team of staff instantly made us feel like we had arrived somewhere special. The hotel reception is open plan and as you step out of your cab you can see through the beautiful reception area, bar and straight out to the sea. Some serious thought and money on your first impression has been spent and it doesn't fail to impress. It was hot and we were tired and within 10 mins we were escorted to our room, left to unpack and given a short but clear intro to the hotel. Spread over 17 acres with immaculate gardens this is heaven. We stayed in The Cove suites which each have their own private pool shared between the 7 rooms within each villa. Our room was huge, with our own balcony. Our days were spent being looked after by everyone that works there. Within the 30 mins of arrival everyone seemed to know our names and it was like being welcomed home (despite never being here before). This is a family run hotel and the charming Gary and Buzzy Randall along with their two adorable children, are present and give it a homely feel but everything is run to a high corporate standard. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff and you really begin to understand the Caribbean hospitality that people talk about. Every morning a member of the concierge team would ask us what we wanted to do that day and where we would like to eat. Booking is recommended but we mainly ate in the Palm, which served delicious, fresh and healthy food Breakfast, lunch and dinner, the presentation was superb and Jasper, the Food Director was charming and attentive at all times. I was lead to believe the food in the carribbean was not all that. Here it is. The hotel offers a ton of free extras; wine tastings, rum tastings, sushi classes, four different restaurants and we even had a special beach dinner with a guest chef, with was amazing. The island is worth exploring and the front desk provided a brilliant concierge service that helped us plan and book every excursion, although we mainly stayed in the hotel we did go to Cecilia's which was charming and a great recommendation. Honestly this is a hotel worth staying at. Lovely people, Lovely fellow guests, not too many kids, CHARMING staff, great weather, great food, superbly comfortable and at the end of it all our bill was virtually nothing as we went all inclusive ... I spent some money in the gorgeous gift shop, that has incredible stuff that doesn't rip you off. Everything, literally everything is good about this hotel. We rebooked on departure for 2019!

Paradise

Irvine, United Kingdom

A wonderful resort. The staff are all very friendly, courteous and eager to make your stay a memorable one. The food in all three restaurants and Carolyn’s bar is of a high standard and lots of choice. Service is also excellent. We stayed in a Cove suite which was beautiful. Our concierges Karen and Kelisha could not do enough to help us during our stay. One of the highlights of our stay was a morning tour of the gardens by head gardener, John, whose enthusiasm, knowledge and humour really impressed us. It was really enjoyable and we saw things we would not normally have noticed walking around the resort. A big thankyou to all the staff who worked hand to give us the holiday of a lifetime!
