Phew......and relax xx

London, United Kingdom

With a real wonder-lust thirst from both Lynn and I, we rarely consider going back anywhere twice or heaven forbid maybe more! However, you guys at Blue Waters and Antigua have fuelled our appetite to return. We wanted a relaxing couple of weeks, 14 nights in all, generally could of stayed longer, we certainly were spoilt with exceptional hospitality. The island is great, the hotel, food, drinks, accommodation but most of all the staff are exceptional. We made some lovely friends and shared beautiful experiences, thanks Gary & Buzzy and all of your supporting crew. Until next time......xx

Enjoyed our stay at Blue waters this month

Minneapolis

We just returned from a 5 day stay at the Hotel. We lost one day due to missed flight connection. We were staying in Cove Suites Villa 2F. It has a nice patio in the back overlooking the ocean. We travel a lot and the view from the patio was one of the best we have ever had. Santorini is the only other place where we had a better view. Resort is beautiful, peaceful and service was good. Our room was spacious. It had a king bed and they set up 2 twin beds for our 6 and 8-year-old kids. We found the people in the resort friendly. 90% of the visitors were from UK. We played Tennis, basketball but did not use the gym. I was pleasantly surprised to find a cooler with water in the tennis courts. Since we missed day due to missed flight we did not leave the resort. There are two small beaches. The resort did not seem crowded. We did see folks bringing drinks to the beach. There are a pool in the villa but it was 5 to 9 feet deep so our kids did not spend a lot of time in it. There was a kids pool in the main area where we spent a lot of time. We had to take a buggy to go back and froth between our room and lobby. Cove suites came with a concierge but we did not utilize it much. When we were checking into the resort a few people from kids club greeted our kids. They seemed friendly. However when we visited the kids club it seemed dark. There were 2 ladies in the room in the kids club but nobody at the register to check us in. They saw us but did not bother to come out of the room. We also found kids club to be bit small. It may have been OK for younger kids but not for older kids. They did organize an easter egg hunt which looked fun. Room service was available but there was a $15 service charge. This was not necessary when folks are already paying $1500 a night for a room. Food was one area where this resort did not measure up to other resorts. Cove and Bartleys restaurants were nice. They required reservations and we were able to get into them. The third restaurant was called Palms. This was only option for breakfast/lunch. Ingredients were fresh and food was fine but it did not have enough variety for us. Fortunately twice there was an option to get BBQ food which was great. This is a smaller resort so this may explain the lack of variety in food. Overall this is a good resort for families. It is peaceful, quite and relaxing. Service is good and weather was great.
