Beautiful Resort / Nice Vacation

We just returned from our vacation at Sandals Grande Antigua. This is not our first Sandals experience and will not be our last. We really enjoyed ourselves and this resort is beautiful. There were a few things that were a tad off with the resort, but for the most part it truly was a great and amazing experience. Pros: - Nightlife is good and enough to be involved in if you wish, or you can not be involved if you don’t want to. - Beach & ocean were gorgeous - Resort is gorgeous and well kept - The gym is great and has everything you would need for your workout - Butlers: Sean, Khozi & Dionne - absolutely amazing ❤️ We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone at anytime - Latisha at Loyalty is outstanding to work with and definitely go visit her. - If it even rained it was for less than 3 minutes and done. - Melvin @ OK corral was really nice and great. - Joven and Jessica at Soy are a must to see! Soy is amazing and they are so much fun and welcoming! - Michelle Mc & Liscia Lawrence for massages were wonderful - Zip Lining tour was an experience. Husband loved it and I was at least glad I tried it. Obstacle course at the end is crazy! - Kerron did our photo shot and we had amazing photos; extremely impressed - Airport was definitely newer and very nice! It was easy to get in and out of as well. No issues and friendly staff. - The floating bar down the way on the beach was a lot of fun and a great place to go and hangout for some time. Go see Johnny for sure! - Marie-Louise at the Main pool swim-up bar is amazing and great! - I felt that the Butlers really went above and beyond to do smaller things at this resort than the others we have been to so far. - Shirley’s Heights was OUTSTANDING and a MUST-DO! We went on a Sunday and it was crowded, but if you go on a Thursday it is supposed to be the same without the hundreds of people. View was breathtaking. Cons: - Breakfast at Elenor’s took over an hour for eggs; we also were not a fan of Elenor’s for dinner either - especially since it is the “nicer restaurant” and the guys have to wear pants and closed toed shoes. - The night we had dinner at Elenor’s (7:30p reservations) we weren’t even to our main meal and music in the main lobby started. My husband and I could barely hear each other speaking. The music was nice and good, but I also was a tad put off by it at the same time. - Staff at swimup pool bar did not seem super friendly except for Marie-Louise, she was amazing! - Some staff seemed as though you were bothering them, while others are absolutely great! - Vendors on beach are very overwhelming and make you not want to go lay out - Good amount of seaweed at the beach though, but it wasn’t too bothersome and it is the ocean so should be expected - Cats roam all over, but they seem to be well taken care of and they do have “Cat Cafes” around the property to feed them and all. - We are mid to late-30’s and were one of the younger couples at the resort. A few were younger than us but not by much.

very good stay

After reading through many of the reviews before we visited the Sandals resort in Antigua I was a little skeptical as to whether or not we would have a good vacation. However, I must say everything went very well for us with no problems or concerns. Sure, there will always will be some unexpected issues or disappointments that come up but this is true with anywhere you go. It's a beautiful place and our expectations were met. We had a butler service that worked very well, every restaurant was excellent and the staff was gracious. The only negative issue I can think of was when we did the snorkeling trip there was suppose to be some training before we headed out and there wasn't any, otherwise, the trip went well.
