South Africa

There's nothing better than a tailor-made trip around South Africa and for those that are happy to self-drive we highly recommend doing that for parts of the itinerary. Start your stay in Cape Town which offers something for everyone and attracts a complete mixture of people. We suggest spending at least three nights here and recommend taking a cable car up Table Mountain for amazing views over the city, shopping and eating on the Victoria and Alfred waterfront and visiting the penguins that inhabit Boulders Beach. We recommend picking up a hire car and spending at least five nights leisurely driving through one of the world's most popular self-drive routes. Stop off at Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, the Tsitsikamma Forest, George, Oudtshoorn, and Hermanus to name a few, before arriving at the end point, Port Elizabeth. Finally finish off your visit to South Africa with an unforgettable safari experience in the Eastern Cape, here you will hopefully have the chance to see a whole array of wildlife including the Big Five whilst out on game drives and walking safari's.

Zambia is the real Africa in all its wild glory. Amazing world class game viewing in expansive national parks, the spectacular Victoria Falls, the world famous Devil's Pool, the South Luangwa National Park and the birthplace of the walking safari. Fish or white water raft on the mighty Zambezi River, or watch flocks of birds over the plains. One of the best countries on the planet for adrenaline sports, bungee jumping, microlight flights and rope swings are all in a days work in Zambia. We recommend spending at least three nights here.
