Outside, pristine wilderness passes by as the train takes you south west, getting closer than you thought possible to places only accessible by train. Find yourself in the middle of the wild and rugged landscapes of the Rocky Mountains. Pass by snow-capped peaks towering above and vast glaciers glistening, and see stunning wildlife prowling the rocky terrain. Journey across the Continental Divide and mountain passes, see the impressive Mount Robson and Pyramid Falls, and follow the path of the North Thompson River to Kamloops.

After a relaxing night’s sleep in a hotel, another day of adventure awaits aboard Rocky Mountaineer. Travel from the British Columbia Interior to the green fields of Fraser Valley, passing the beautiful peaks of the Coast Mountains and Cascade Mountains as you go. Day 1

Jasper - Kamloops

Board Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper Station around 8am. Sit back and relax as you leave Jasper behind and head south west towards Kamloops, tonight’s destination. Let your hosts take care of you and enjoy the breath-taking views from your window. Today, you’ll pass the Continental Divide and the wondrous mountains of Monashee and Cariboo. From towering Mount Robson to the flowing waters of the Pyramid Falls, there are so many incredible sights to be seen from your window. As Rocky Mountaineer pulls into Kamloops, bid your train goodnight and spend your evening exploring the city or simply relaxing in your hotel.

Day 2

Kamloops - Vancouver

Board your train once again this morning and settle down for a lovely journey to Vancouver. A bounty of diverse scenery awaits today, from the desert-like British Columbia Interior to the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the patchwork of farms and fields in the Fraser Valley. As your train takes you across British Columbia, you’ll see some of Canada’s most incredible natural sights, including the Thompson River and Hell’s Gate. Your journey on the Rocky Mountaineer comes to an end this evening, as the train pulls into Vancouver Station.
