Port of Call - Juneau, Alaska
First port of call is Juneau, located at the foot of grand mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, the town has the massive Mendenhall Glacier and the immense Juneau Icefields right at its back door.Due to the long daylight hours, there's plenty of time for your perfect Juneau adventure, whether shopping in the town, whale watching or exploring the lush Tongass National Forest.Overnight on Holland America's ms Koningsdam.
Glacier Bay Scenic Cruise
Today you'll take a scenic cruise of Glacier Bay, a Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site, the bayhas more actively calving tidewater glaciers than anyplace else in the world. Make sure you have your camera at the ready to capture these incredible natural sights.
Port of Call - Ketchikan, Alaska
Deep water fjords created by retreating glaciers has left behind the stunning granite cliffs where Ketchikan is located. Take time to explore Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village. Overnight on Holland America’s ms Koningsdam.

Disembark in Vancouver
After breakfast onboard, it is time to disembark the ms Koningsdam in Vancouver and continue your journey with Rocky Mountaineer.
Vancouver to Kamloops
Today, begin your adventure onboard Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia. Admire the dramatic change in scenery from lush green fields, winding river canyons and the mountain peaks, as you enjoy the five star luxury service on board. Highlights include Hell's Gate, Fraser Canyon and the Thompson River. Overnight in Kamloops.
Kamloops to Banff
Today, you continue your journey east towards the magnificent Canadian Rockies. You'll travel across rolling ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores and over high mountain passes enjoying a spectacular array of scenery. Today's highlights include: Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and the snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies.
Your rail journey ends this evening in the resort town of Banff where you will spend the night.
Experience Banff Highlights Tour
Enjoy the morning at leisure to explore the scenic resort town of Banff. After lunch, you'll take a half-day sightseeing tour of Banff and Banff National Park including Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and a trip on the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Overnight in Banff.
Today is yours free to further explore Banff and Banff National Park. Shop among the quaint boutiques or take one of Rocky Mountaineer's optional excursions including the mineral pools at Upper Hot Springs, a nature walk on nearby mountain trails, historic museums, Lake Minnewanka or golf at The Fairmont Banff Springs. Overnight in Banff.
Banff to Lake Louise
Today you'll take a half day tour into Yoho National Park where you'll get to see some of the park's natural wonders including the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake, and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. The tour will end in Lake Louise where you'll have the remainder of the day to explore the spectacular lake at leisure. Overnight in Lake Louise.
Enjoy a free day in stunning Lake Louise. Take a guided hike around the Lake, try canoeing on the turquoise waters or just relax and take in the breathtaking views. Overnight in Lake Louise.
Lake Louise to Jasper including Icefields Parkway Tour
Today you'll journey along the famous Icefields Parkway, enjoying stunning views of Banff and Jasper National Parks. Highlights include: Bow Lake and a ride on the incredible Ice Explorer to the middle of Athabasca Glacier, one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America.Overnight in Jasper.
Enjoy a scenic half-day tour of UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Canadian Rockies' largest national park, Jasper National Park. Be inspired by the rugged peaks, dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife, before having the rest of the day to explore Jasper on your own. Overnight in Jasper.
Jasper to Quesnel
Travel aboard Rocky Mountaineer again today, from Jasper to Quesnel. Highlights on your journey include the Rocky Mountain Trench, Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Yellowhead Pass, Moose Lake and the Fraser River. Overnight in Quesnel.
Quesnel to Whistler
Today you continue your journey south enjoying the comfort and luxury onboard Rocky Mountaineer. You'll see sweeping views of the Fraser Canyon, the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world, and the shorelines of glacial-fed Seton Lake and Anderson Lake before arriving for your overnight night stop in the resort of Whistler.
Whistler to Vancouver
This afternoon you'll return to Vancouver with Rocky Mountaineer. Highlights along the journey include the Cheakamus Canyon, Mount Garibaldi, Howe Sound and the stunning Coast Mountains. On arrival, you will be transferred to your accommodation in downtown Vancouver.
Vancouver North Shore Sightseeing Tour
Today you'll experience a full day sightseeing tour of Vancouver's incredible North Shore. You'll travel across the Lions Gate Bridge and into the Coast Mountains before visiting Capilano Suspension Bridge and Treetops Adventure Park, discovering the coastal temperate rainforest and British Columbia's First Nations heritage. Next, visit Grouse Mountain (gondola admission included), the Peak of Vancouver, and take in breathtaking views of the city, ocean, and surrounding mountains. Overnight in Vancouver.
Vancouver - End of tour
After breakfast, it is time to leave Vancouver and continue your journey home.
