The Bahamas is a year-round sailing destination with shallow, clear waters and natural beauty at every turn. Your sailing adventure will begin at the Marsh Harbour base where you'll be introduced to your yacht and skipper. You'll set sail together to explore quiet idyllic cays, marvel at breath-taking scenery and enjoy delicious food. Your trip will allow you to enjoy the laid-back Bahamian lifestyle while you snorkel with turtles and tropical fish, dive among sunken shipwrecks, and soak up the sun on uninhabited white sand beaches.

Once you have decided on the sailing portion of your holiday, it's time to think about when and where you would like to spend your stay. Completing your island hopping experience with a stay in Nassau or Paradise Island means minimal transfer times between your destinations; it's also worth considering venturing somewhere further afield. Why not visit Miami, perfect for beach lovers or Orlando and Las Vegas for thrill-seekers? Alternatively, pair your nautical adventure with a city break in New York City for a spot of shopping. If you can't decide, hotel stays can be added either side of your sail, so you can explore more in one trip for the ultimate multi centre holiday.

From Great Guana Cay, you'll be heading through shallow turquoise waters westward to Green Turtle Cay. Dotted with a number of harbours to choose from, marvel at the unique architecture and stunning wildlife before spending a few lazy hours relaxing on the beach and snorkelling in the calm blue sea. Green Turtle Cay is also known for its excellent restaurants so be sure to sample the Bahamas; famous fresh lobster and other local delicacies.

Deserted beaches

Rent a golf cart to visit the beautiful, quiet beaches on the Atlantic side of the island.

No Name Cay

Just south of Green Turtle Cay is this tiny islet, also known as ‘Piggyville’. Make a pit stop to see the group of semi-feral pigs residing here that you can feed, stroke and photograph.

Miss Emily’s Blue Bee Bar

Stop by for a signature Bahamian cocktail, the Goombay Smash. As tropical as its surroundings, this rum punch is a firm favourite on the Bahamas' bucket list and available by the glass or by the gallon.

Day 3

Just offshore from Man-O-War Cay, keen divers can discover the spectacular remains of the USS Adirondack, sunk in the 1800's with canons and other shipwreck debris littering the sea floor.

Expert boat builders

Man-O-War Cay has a strong boat building heritage which is still evident today and the island’s maritime legacy is kept alive by contemporary boat builders, meaning the cay remains the boat building capital of the Bahamas.
