Newfoundland and Labrador Multi Centre
Newfoundland and Labrador is home to largely untouched natural landscapes, which stretch for miles from coast to coast. It’s home to rugged beaches and cliffs which open out onto the Atlantic Ocean, as well as some beautiful interior landscapes. One of its main draws for visitors from the UK is the five hour flight time from most UK airports.
Newfoundland’s capital, St. John’s, is home to a vibrant city atmosphere and plenty of things to do. Its colourful houses are interspersed with luscious greenery, which brings the beautiful surrounding landscapes to the city as it cascades down a hill towards the Atlantic coastline. There’s also a replicated Viking village – Norstead – which allows you to step back in time to this fascinating period.
The main attraction of Newfoundland and Labrador is its rugged landscapes. You’ll find gorges which date back to the Pleistocene period and offer dramatic sweeping views like the fjord lands. Visit in the summer and kayak up to the 10,000 year old icebergs along “Iceberg Alley” or simply take to the hiking trails and look out over the sparkling Atlantic.
