Our self-driving tour of Tasmania will take you through the beautiful landscapes of this heart shaped island, which is located just off Australia’s coast. Over 10 days you will see some of the island’s most beautiful wildlife and landscapes, as well as immersing yourself in the history and culture of the area.

Start your Grand Circle of Tasmania tour in the island’s capital, Hobart, where you can see its beautiful architecture or explore the Royal Botanical Gardens. Enjoy local cuisine and seafood dishes or watch the yachts in Constitution Bay. On day two, pick up your hire care and drive across to Straham where our experts recommend watching a play about the local area. Next on your tour is Cradle Mountain National Park, which is home to lakes, mountains and beautiful walking trails. Spend a day exploring the area before heading to Launceston. Here you’ll find colourful houses in the heart of the countryside.

See the beautiful beaches of St Helens and try world famous seafood, before visiting Freycinet National Park, where you might be lucky enough to see an eagle. Stop off in a 19th Century prison, located on an island separated from Tasmania’s mainland by shark infested waters, before making your way back to Hobart through idyllic towns and countryside.
