Immerse yourself in Texas and America’s vibrant south on this eight day tour. Spend over a week in the cowboy capital, trying craft beer and exploring the beautiful landscapes and cosmopolitan cities.

Your Texas tour kicks off in Fort Worth, where you’ll enjoy your first taste of the state’s cowboy culture at a saloon in The Fort Worth Stockyards. The following day, you’ll travel through to Dallas for an insider’s look into the assassination of John F. Kennedy at the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. You will also have the opportunity to travel the fated Presidential Motorcade. From there, you’ll return to Fort Worth just in time for the sunset cattle drive before witnessing the Championship Rodeo at the Cowtown Coliseum. You’ll end your night at the local honky tonk, Billy Bob’s.

Your next stop will be Beaumont Ranch en route to Austin. Here, you’ll live like the ranchers do, learning how to rope cattle and ride horseback along a scenic trail. In Austin, a visit to a local smokehouse and a generous glug of homemade craft beer is in order. You’ll also enjoy lunch at a famous food truck park after a tour of the Capitol Building and 360 Bridge. A stop off in the SoCo District and the iconic Continental Club rounds off a fun-filled day of authentic Texan adventure.

On your way to San Antonio, spend the afternoon in Fredericksburg, a tiny little town with a rich German heritage. You’ll arrive in San Antonio at sunset and be treated to a romantic, relaxing riverboat cruise. Exploration in San Antonio takes you to The Alamo, the San Antonio River Walk, and Gruene National Historic District where you’ll visit the oldest dance hall in Texas.

Your final destination is Houston boasting its interesting Space Centre, along with its historic hipster neighbourhoods just northeast of downtown Houston. The following day, you’ll depart on your return flight home or continue onto New Orleans, “The Big Easy”, if you’re joining our “A Southern Stay” tour.
