Safari through Yala National Park and spot the array of wildlife that call this beautiful corner of the island their home. From leopards to elephants and from sloth bears to buffalo there is no shortage of the park's residents to spot.
This tour is based as an extension to some of our most popular tours. The Classic Ceylon, Cultural Kandy and Tea and the Splendours of Sri Lanka can all be extended by two nights with this amazing experience.
Start your Journey
Day 1
Buduruwagala and Yala
En route to Yala visit the ancient city of Buduruwagala and see the great sculptures dating back to the 9th or 10th centuries. - Please note this excursion is not available if you are being collected from any west and south coast hotels.
Continue to Yala and check in to your hotel.
Day 2
Yala Safari
Enjoy an early morning safari through the park and spot the array of mammals, reptiles and birds that live here. Return to the hotel for a late breakfast. Relax before heading back out for your second safari around mid-afternoon.
Day 3
Galle and onward travels
This morning you leave Yala and head to the west coast. En route stop at the Galle Fort, one of Sri Lanka's grandest landmarks and take a tour.
After your visit to Galle, continue on to your respective beach hotel or to the airport for you onward travels.
