Day 1
San Jose to Tortuguero
Leave your hotel in the morning and enjoy the drive to the Braulio Carrillo National Park. Visit the banana factory and enjoy a luscious banana drink before boarding a boat to explore the wildlife along the Tortuguero canals. You will have a delicious lunch and refreshing cocktail at a lodge will admiring the breathtaking beauty of the flora and fauna. After lunch you will visit the museum, the beach and the small picturesque town of Tortuguero. A delightful dinner then awaits you at the lodge.
Day 2
Tortuguero
Optional morning tour. Enjoy nature at its best as you undertake a journey though the canals at dawn., and take your best shot of a real Caribbean sunrise. Afterwards, enjoy breakfast at the lodge and get ready to hike Tortuguero Hill or if you prefer, travel along the well known canals again. Enjoy lunch back at the lodge and then take your time to enjoy the private walking trails, or just relax at the lodge. Overnight at lodge.
Day 3
Tortuguero
Breakfast at the lodge before your departure to San Jose. Lunch en-route.
