Our tour featuring Tango and Samba takes you to the two fascinating cities of Buenos Aires in Argentina and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Both are famous for their love of dance and music, as raw and exciting as the scenery surrounding the cities. Explore the Argentinean Tango capital, home to Eva Peron and explore its surrounds. Continue to the natural beauty that is Iguazu Falls, where the water's thundering sound creates its own dance beat. Finally, change the rhythm to a Samba in Rio, home of Sugar Loaf Mountain, Copacabana Beach and Christ the Redeemer Statue on Corcovado Mountain.

Buenos Aires
Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be transferred to you hotel.
In the afternoon, you will visit the district of Palermo known for its beautiful parks and artificial lakes. The City Zoo, Botanical Gardens of Buenos Aires, the Argentinian Horse track and the National Polo Fields are all located in this area.
On this tour, you will also get to visit some of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires: Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood. These areas have many designer boutiques for you to discover as well as numerous cafes and restaurants.
The rest of the evening is at leisure. If you would like to continue exploring, we recommend the optional activity Argentina culinary experience. A three-hour tour designed to give an introduction of the best of Argentine cuisine and culture.
Buenos Aires
During your city tour in Buenos Aires you will drive along 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest avenue of the world, you will pass close to the Colon Theatre, one of the world's best known opera houses and the cultural pride of the "bonaerenses". A visit to the famous Avenida de Mayo that runs into the Plaza De Mayo to witness some of the most historic buildings in the area. We will stop for a cup of coffee and a snack at a traditional coffee house.
Your next stop is La Boca, a most colorful area with the famous street Caminito.
Continue to the north area and visit the Recoleta area, one of the city’s most glamorous spots. Here you will see elegant boutiques and excellent restaurants. The heart of the neighborhood is the Recoleta cemetery. The cemetery is the centre of this aristocratic neighborhood, and the most relevant personalities of Argentina’s history rest in this place. It is considered to be one of the most impressive monuments of Argentina. 30min stop includes visit of Eva Duarte`s grave, known as Eva Perón (Evita).
In the evening you will be taken to the tango house Viejo Almacén (on a shared basis), visiting a Tango Show is a MUST when you are in Buenos Aires!
El Viejo Almacén became a unique place thanks to its historic location and an authentic style nourished by popularity built through the years. Every night its doors are open to enjoy an impressive tango show performed by prominent interpreters of the tango scene, a demonstration of Andean music, as well as exquisite cuisine. You will enjoy a show with music, singing and dancing. The dinner includes entrée, main course, dessert & drinks.
Buenos Aires
After breakfast you will be collected to enjoy a complete day at the Ranch Estancia Santa Susana, witness the charm of the Argentinian countryside by carriages and horse rides. A barbeque lunch will be served with a selection of salads plus a local dessert. After lunch you can experience the local folklore show with music and dances, join in on typical estancia's activites such as 'carrera de sortijas' where two teams gallop at full tilt under a wooden arch and try to pass a pin through a small ring hanging from the arch. At the end of the day you will be transferred back to the city at one of the following points, your guide will advise you what drop is closest to your hotel.

Buenos Aires to Iguazu
Take a morning flight to Iguazu and upon arrival, travel to the Argentinean National Park and the visitors centre before heading to the Interior Circuit (the down-river falls) and the Superior Circuit (the up-river cascades). The Ecological Jungle Train leads you to the most impressive observation point of the falls, The Devil's Throat. After this, depart to the Brazilian side of the falls and transfer to your hotel.
Iguazu
Today you will visit the Brazilian side of the falls. Walk along the paths following cascades and along the walkway that leads close to Devil's Throat.
Afternoon is at your leisure.
Iguazu to Rio de Janeiro
Transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. Arrive in Rio and transfer to your hotel before having a stroll along Copacabana Beach at your leisure. Rio is surrounded by natural beauty on all sides and overlooked by Christ the Redeemer, perched on top of Corcovado blessing the city and Sugar Loaf, one of the most famous postcards of the country.
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Corcovado. Depart on the cog train for the ride through Tijuca Forest, up to Corcovado Mountain and enjoy scenic landscapes of the beaches and the city. Climb the steps to the top, where the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer stands. The tour continues, passing by Rio’s world-famous beaches as far as Urca District to board a cable car up Sugar Loaf Mountain. At 1200 feet high, you will never forget this experience.
In the evening you will experience Rio by Night, a cultural diversity combining the Northeast, the Amazon, the Pampas with its folklore. This carnival show gathers on stage featuring skilled dancers, entertainers, samba dancers and beautiful costumes. The Samba show includes dinner (no beverages).
Rio de Janeiro
Day at leisure in Rio de Janeiro before your transfer back to the airport for your return flight home or onward travel arrangements.
