On this 13 day tour, your tour director will lead you to extraordinary places throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, with breath-taking vistas at every turn.
Let yourself get lost in awe as you travel along the Cabot Trail, one of the most beautiful drives in the country. Follow the trail as it winds its way around Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton Island, feeling the green-covered mountain slopes embrace you and the stunning blue ocean call to you. Take to the water on whale-watching boat tours, looking out for these majestic marine mammals and seabirds, and observe the Bay of Fundy’s striking Hopewell Rocks.
Wander towns and cities that sit by the sea and experience the area’s rich heritage and European influence as you visit significant cultural and historical places. As the sun sets, get ready to enjoy yet another facet of the Maritime’s wonderful culture as you feast on traditional lobster dinners and other delicious fresh seafood.

Start your Journey
Arrive in Halifax
After your plane touches down in Halifax, Nova Scotia, make your way to your hotel and settle in. Tonight, you’ll meet your tour director and fellow travellers at a welcome reception.
Halifax - Moncton
Your first day on the road will take you to the New Brunswick city of Moncton. As you go, enjoy views over the Bay of Fundy, learning abouts its intriguing tides, and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Joggins Fossil Cliffs. When you reach New Brunswick, climb aboard a lobster boat and take to the waters of Shediac Bay as you enjoy a delicious lobster dinner.
Moncton - Saint John
This morning, see the incredible wonder of the Hopewell Rocks, flower-pot shaped rock formations on the coast of the Bay of Fundy that have been sculpted over many years by the highest tides in the world. After travelling through Fundy National Park, you’ll reach Saint John and tour this coastal city.
St. Andrews-by-the-Sea / Saint John
Today, you’ll head to the charming coastal town of St. Andrews-by-the-Sea. You’ll get the chance to spot majestic whales on a whale-watching boat tour (weather permitting), then the afternoon is yours to explore St. Andrews-by-the-Sea at leisure, before you return to Saint John for the night.
Saint John - Annapolis Valley
You’ll have some time to explore Saint John or simply relax this morning, before crossing the Bay of Fundy by ferry and arriving back in Nova Scotia. After spending some time in the town of Digby, you’ll spend the night in the Annapolis Valley.
Annapolis Valley - Halifax
Today, you’ll get to take a tour of a local winery and indulge in a wine tasting session, before travelling on to Halifax, where you’ll spend the night.
Halifax
Head straight to Peggy’s Cove this morning, a charming fishing village that’s home to the most photographed lighthouse in Canada. After devouring a delicious breakfast here, continue your journey to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can take a walking tour and visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic.
Halifax - Charlottetown
Today, you’ll cross over the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island, after making a stop at the Glooscap Heritage Centre and Mi’kmaq Museum to learn about the Mi’kmaq culture. Get ready for an evening of incredible seafood as tonight you’ll get to enjoy a traditional hall-style lobster dinner, before spending the night in Charlottetown.
Charlottetown / Prince Edward Island
This morning, choose to spend some time enjoying Charlottetown at your own pace or join a complimentary walking tour before climbing aboard the coach and driving to Prince Edward Island National Park, taking in the bounty of views the area has to offer as you go. You’ll also get to visit the Green Gables Heritage Site and take in a theatre performance at the Confederation Centre of the Arts.
Charlottetown to Baddeck
Today, you’ll continue your journey to Cape Breton Island and stop off at the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site in Baddeck, then head to the Bras d’Or Lake, where you’ll spend the night in a hotel.
Baddeck / Cabot Trail
Many scenic lookouts await you today as you take to the Cabot Trail, one of the country’s most incredible drives, winding around Cape Breton’s northern shore. Follow the trail up to the plateaus of Cape Breton Highlands National Park, then board a boat for an awe-inspiring whale-watching tour (weather permitting), before driving back to Baddeck for the night.
Baddeck - Halifax
Today, you’ll get to experience life in the 1700’s at Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site. Find yourself immersed in the reconstruction of this old settlement, then continue your journey back to Halifax and enjoy one final evening here.
Depart from Halifax
Bid your group farewell before heading to Halifax International Airport and boarding a flight home.
