Full Itinerary

Day 1 - Heathrow/Johannesburg
Non-stop overnight South African Airways flight to Johannesburg.

Day 2- Johannesburg/Madikwe
Upon arrival in Johannesburg your meet by one of our representatives to assist you to Federal Air for your onward flight to Madikwe. When you arrive you will be transferred to Impodimo Game Lodge. (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Madikwe
During your stay at the Lodge you receive two game drives per day – one at dawn and one at dusk. In between take the opportunity to relax by the feature rock pool, with a book from the library. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Madikwe and Cape Town
Check out and fly back to Johannesburg with Federal Air before your onwards flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival you’ll pick up your hire car, and check in to the Twelve Apostles Hotel, why not choose a half day Cape Town city tour, including Malay quarter, flower market and Signal Hill. (B)

Day 5 - Cape Town
After breakfast, we recommend choosing a Full-day Peninsula tour, in which you will see Cape Point and Nature Reserve, penguin colony and Simon Town’s naval base. (B)

Day 6 - Cape Town
You can’t come to South Africa without enjoying the exquisite food and fine wines, with that in mind why not take a half-day Stellenbosch and Winelands tour, and finish off in Franschhoek, to feast on the fine tastes of South Africa. (B)

Day 7 - Cape Town
Continue to see the wonders in and around the ‘Mother city’ by booking a Walk to Freedom tour, for a half-day or extend into a full-day tour and include the fantastic sites of Robben Island. Alternatively, spend the last day before moving on, pampering yourself in the spa. (B)

Day 8 - Cape Town and Grootbos
After breakfast, just a short drive away (2hrs), hidden high above Walker Bay, lays the resort of Grootbos – South Africa’s premier marine and floral destination. Situated between mountain and sea, the reserve blends classic service with uncompromising luxury, and boasts excellent cuisine, world-class wines, and superb nature based activities. (B,L,D)

Day 9 - Grootbos
For your final day why not choose to book 4x4 driving accompanied by a local expert guide, horse riding or a boat trip to see seals, penguins and whales (own account). (B,L,D).

Day 10 - Grootbos / Cape Town / Heathrow
Drive yourself back to Cape Town International airport for your South African Airways flight back to London.
