Full Itinerary

Day 1 - Heathrow / Johannesburg / Port Elizabeth
Non-stop overnight South African Airways flight to Johannesburg for your connecting flight to Port Elizabeth.

Day 2- Port Elizabeth
Upon arrival you will pick up your car and drive to Protea Marine Hotel (10 mins), Situated in the Heart of Nelson Mandela Bay along Port Elizabeth’s magnificent beachfront. Conveniently located within close proximity to the town centre.

Day 3 - Port Elizabeth and Addo Elephant National Park
After breakfast check out and make your way to Nguni River Lodge (1hr), situated high on a ridge, with spectacular views of the majestic Zuurberg Mountains. On days 3 and 4 you will receive two game drives per day. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Nguni River Lodge
Take full advantage of the included two Game drives a day. Africa’s abundant wildlife is without a doubt the main attraction at Nguni River Lodge, where you may experience close encounters with both the ‘Big Five’ and numerous smaller animal, bird and reptile species on either game walks and horseback safaris. Day 5 - Addo Elephant National Park and Plettenberg Bay
After breakfast youdrive towards Plettenberg bay where you spend the first of three nights at the Exclusive Plettenberg Park Hotel. (B)

Day 6 - Plettenberg Bay
For your first full day in Plettenberg Bay, why not try one of the Optional excursions that we have to offer such as a 2 hour Dolphin and Whale watching tour (from £25). (B)

Day 7 - Plettenberg Bay
After breakfast on your last day before driving to Mossel bay, we recommend booking our Knysna and Plettenberg Bay Full day tour (from £80). (B)

Day 8 - Plettenberg bay and Mossel Bay
Arrive into Mossel bay and check in to the Diaz Strand hotel. Right in the heart of the Garden route, this beautiful hotel caters for everyone offering a wide range of facilities such as outdoor rim flow pool with a heated indoor pool alongside a Jacuzzi garden and wellness centre. (B)

Day 9 - Mossel Bay and Franschhoek
Depart the Garden Route and make your way toward the Cape Winelands, to check into Le Franschhoek hotel. (B)

Day 10 - Franschhoek
This Country Retreat is set within walking distance of some of the most fantastic restaurants and shops. We recommend spending the morning looking round the many wonderful Craft and Clothes shops, followed by some fine dining complimented by fine wines. (B)

Day 11 - Franschhoek and Cape Town
After breakfast drive for an hour to the ‘Mother City’ Cape Town, known as the beating heart of South Africa, home to the world renowned Table Mountain, Check into the Mandela Rhodes Place. Take a day to discover the history and architecture with an escorted ‘Half day city tour’ (from £16). (B)

Day 12 - Cape Town
After breakfast drive for an hour to the ‘Mother City’ Cape Town, known as the beating heart of South Africa, home to the world renowned Table Mountain, Check into the Mandela Rhodes Place. Take a day to discover the history and architecture with an escorted ‘Half day city tour’ (from £16). (B)

Day 13 - Cape Town
Spend your last day enjoying the city; maybe finish of the perfect holiday with an evening sunset beach and dinner excursion (from £34). Head out of the city before sunset, enjoy a glass of sparkling wine as you watch the sunset from one of Cape Town’s beautiful beaches. (B)

Day 14 - Cape Town
Make your way to Cape Town International Airport for your overnight South African Airways flight to London. (B)
