Full Itinerary
Day 1 - Heathrow/Kuala Lumpur
Non-stop overnight flight on Malaysia Airlines.
Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur
Transfer to The Equatorial Hotel for 2 nights. (RO)
Day 3 - Kuala Lumpur
At leisure. (RO)
Day 4 - Kuala Lumpur / Taman Negara
Depart for the Istana Hotel Kuala Lumpur and onward to the jetty at Kuala Tembeling by coach. After lunch, embark on your journey up the Tembeling River. The slow journey by sampan will give you time to enjoy the beauty of Taman Negara national Park. The boat ride will take about two and a half hours depending on river conditions. Upon arrival, check in at the Mutiara Taman Negara Resort for the next three night. You will have time to relax or explore the resort before dinner, followed by a short presentation on the National Park, which will take you through all the fascinating attractions in Taman Negara. After the presentation, enjoy a guided night jungle walk to observe the different kind of flora and fauna, or even wild life, often shy and well camouflaged. (D)
Day 5 - Taman Negara
After breakfast, you will go on a jungle trek to The Canopy Walkway and the Teresek Hill. The Canopy Walkway is the world’s longest (530 metres) suspended canopy walk, 50 metres above the forest floor. The view is breathtaking and if you’re lucky you just might catch sight of animals scurrying from branch to branch high up in the canopy. Teresek hill will give you a full view of the Tembeling Valley up to the Tahan Mountain. After this tiring yet fascinating jungle trek, return to the resort for lunch. Afternoon boat trip to Lata Berkoh, the natural Jacuzzi of Taman Negara, with time for a swim. Return to the hotel for dinner. (B,D)
Day 6 - Taman Negara
After breakfast, depart for the exploration at the Ear Cave (Gua Telinga). Gua Telinga is home to various bats, racer snakes and insects. After lunch proceed to Trenggan lodge for rapid shooting. No special equipment or skills are required. Just sit back in the sampan and the boatman will do all the hard work! After rapid shooting you will make your way back to the hotel for dinner. (B,D)
Day 7 - Taman Negara / Kuala Lumpur
Depart from the hotel to the Tembeling Jetty by sampan boat. Upon arrival at the jetty, there will be time for lunch before taking the coach back to Kuala Lumpur (arrival time approx 3.30 pm). Transfer to The Equatorial Hotel for overnight stay (B)
Day 8 - Kuala Lumpur / Heathrow
Transfer to airport for your non stop Malaysia Airlines flight to Heathrow.
Day 9 -
Heathrow Morning arrival at Heathrow.
