Full Itinerary

Day 1 - London Heathrow/Cairo
Depart from London to Cairo. Met on arrival and transfer to Le Meridien Pyramids.

Day 2 - Cairo/Alexandria
After breakfast, drive to Alexandria. Visit the Greco Roman Museum, Catacomb and Pompey Pillar. Lunch at local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at Metropole hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 3 - Alexandria/El Alamein/Marsa Matrouh/Siwa
Leaving Alexandria behind, drive to El Alamein. Start the day by a visit to the War cemeteries and the Military Museum of El Alamein, of World War II fame. Leave El Alamein and head west to Marsa Matrouh. Lunch en route. After a brief stop in Marsa Matrouh, drive 300 Km to Siwa, a unique Oasis in its history, traditions, people and natural beauty. Dinner and overnight at Siwa Shali Resort hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 4 - Siwa Oasis
After breakfast, drive west towards Belad El Rum with its Roman period burial places carved on the side of the mountains, proceed to Bir Khemesa and the alleged Oracle of Alexander The Great. Visit the temple of Aum Obaida and a chance to bathe in Cleopatra’s spring. Lunch en route. Drive to Gabal El Mauta. Enjoy the magnificent sun set of the beautiful Oasis from Fatnas Island. Dinner and overnight at Siwa Shali Resort hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 5 - Siwa/Bahariya
After breakfast, visit of Birket Zeitoun, the largest lake of Siwa Oasis, drive to lake Abu Sherouf. Arrival to this lake is foreseen around lunchtime. Drive to Bahariya. Dinner and overnight at Sol Y Mar Inn hotel (B, L, D).

Day 6 - Bahariya
After breakfast, visit the Amasis temple of Ain Muftellah, 26th dynasty Penantio tomb. Visit the temple of Alexander the Great, the tombs of the Nobles, the golden Mummies. Lunch en route. Visit Bir Matar, Bir El Ghaba and Captain William’s English house. Bedouin dinner and Bedouin Night. Over night at Sol Y Mar Inn hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 7 - Bahariya/Cairo
After breakfast, drive back to Cairo arriving in the afternoon. Overnight at the Le Meridien Pyramids. (B)

Day 8 - Cairo/London Heathrow
Transfer back to aiport for your flight back to the UK.
