A comprehensive cruise and stay; experience the Nile’s famous ancient sites and Lake Nasser’s beauty and wonder, travelling aboard the luxurious MS Magic on the Nile and a replica paddle steamer on Lake Nasser, before flying to Cairo’s Pyramids of Giza.

Full Itinerary

Day 1 - Heathrow / Luxor
Afternoon EgyptAir flight to Luxor. If this flight is not available you will depart a day earlier, travelling via Cairo, and overnight at Fairmont Heliopolis before flying down to Luxor. On arrival, transfer to MS Magic. (D)

Day 2 - Luxor / Esna
Take an optional excursion to the West Bank including the Valley of the Kings and East Bank, Karnak Temple before proceeding to Esna. (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Esna / Edfu / Kom Ombo /Aswan
Sail to Edfu and visit the temple of Horus, before sailing on to Kom Ombo and then proceeding to Aswan to overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Aswan
Enjoy optional excursions around Aswan including the Aswan High Dam and Botanical Gardens and a motorboat trip on the Nile. Overnight at Aswan. (B,L,D)

Day 5 - Aswan
Disembark and transfer to the Basma Hotel.

Day 6 - Aswan
Transfer to MS Kasr Ibrim for your Lake Nasser cruise. After lunch, visits will be made to some less frequented sites near Aswan. (B,L,D)

Day 7 - Aswan / Wadi El Seboua
Sail to Wadi El Seboua and enjoy a cocktail as you pass through the tropic of cancer (approx. 11hrs). (B,L,D)

Day 8 - Wadi El Seboua / Amada
Take a morning tour of Wadi El Seboua and the Temple of Dakka. Enjoy lunch before sailing to Amada, touring the various sites and the Tomb of Penout. (B,L,D)

Day 9 - Amada / Kasr Ibrim
In the morning, sail to Kasr Ibrim (approx. 2.5hrs). View the Citadel before sailing to Abu Simbel for an afternoon tour of this famous site. In the evening, enjoy the fabulous Sound and Light Show (not included, approx. £10). Please note: this may not be in English.

Day 10 - Abu Simbel
Disembark the MS Kasr Ibrim. After a short EgyptAir flight to Aswan, transfer to the Basma Hotel. (B)

Day 11 - Aswan / Cairo
After a morning EgyptAir flight to Cairo, transfer to the Intercontinental Pyramids Park, downtown Cairo. (B)

Days 11-13 - Cairo
Spend today at leisure, or book our Best of Cairo excursion visiting the Egyptian Museum, Pyramids and a sound and light show. Prices from £85 per person.

Day 14 - Cairo / Heathrow
Depart on your morning EgyptAir flight, non-stop to Heathrow, arriving early afternoon. (B)
