Day 1 - 1 Heathrow/Shanghai
Non-stop overnight flight on British Airways.
Day 2 - Shanghai
Transfer to the Sofitel Hyland for 3 nights. (RO)
Day 3 - Shanghai
Explore this dynamic metropolis at the forefront of business and design change, where the rich heritage of ancient Chinese culture coexists with modern skyscrapers and
latest technologies. Today you will visit the stunning Yu Garden, with its typical pagodas and classic architecture from the Qing Dynasty, and the Jade Buddha Temple, the
most famous Buddhist temple in China. After lunch, shoppers will find their paradise on Nanjing Road and can relax afterwards on the famous Bund, the promenade
along the Huangpu River with its grand buildings of the past sitting opposite the contemporary skyline of Pudong. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to
enjoy a traditional acrobatics show. (B, L)
Day 4 -Shanghai/Suzhou/Shanghai
After breakfast in the hotel, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Suzhou, the “Venice of the Orient”. Today you will have the chance to see the Garden of Master of
the Nets, a typical Suzhou garden, and the water pass, a pass gate connected to the city wall and reminiscent of the busy scenes on the Grand Canal in Venice. After a visit to
a silk spinning factory, the rest of the afternoon is at leisure to stroll along the old living quarters of the old town by the Canal. (B, L)
Day 5 - Shanghai/Hong Kong
Fly Dragonair to Hong Kong and transfer to the Kowloon Hotel for 3 nights. (B)
Day 6 - Hong Kong
Take a tram ride up to Victoria Peak for a 360-degree view of the city and harbour, followed by a tour of Aberdeen, with its contrast of traditional sampans and modern
yachts zipping around the harbour, and the popular Stanley Market. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the shopping and entertainment of Causeway Bay and Hong Kong Island. (RO)
Day 7 - Hong Kong
Day at leisure. Take a ferry to Kowloon and stroll down Nathan Road for shopping or a trip to the Jade market (optional). Do not miss the evening fireworks on
Victoria Harbour – everyday at 6 pm the city sparks and Hong Kong turns into the world’s greatest light show. Enjoy this spectacle on board of an authentic Chinese boat as
she sails through the harbour (complimentary unlimited bar drinks from local wine and spirits to soft drinks). (RO)
Day 8 - Hong Kong/Heathrow
British Airways flight to Heathrow arriving the same day or the day after. (RO)
