Full Itinerary
Day 1 - Heathrow/Nairobi
Overnight non-stop Kenya Airways flight.
Day 2 - Nairobi
Transfer to The Stanley Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3 - Nairobi/Shaba
Depart for northern Kenya, arriving in time for lunch at the Sarova Shaba Lodge, which sits beside the beautiful Ewaso Nyiro River (5hrs). Afternoon game drive. A nature walk can also be taken with the resident naturalist (at additional cost, approx $20 per person). Overnight Sarova Shaba Lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 4 - Shaba
Morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight Sarova Shaba Lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 5 - Shaba/Lake Nakuru
Drive to Lake Nakuru famous for its large flamingo population, hippo, buffalo and leopard (6-7hrs). Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 6 - Lake Nakuru/Masai
Drive to the Masai Mara for the next two nights at Sarova Mara Camp (4.5hrs). Visit the Masai Museum within the camp and for a minimal optional charge, enjoy a bush dinner under the African skies. Hot air balloon flights may be booked at a cost from £245 per person - please ask for details. (B,L,D)
Day 7 - Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara in search of the magnificent Big Five. (B,L,D)
Day 8 - Masai
Depart for Nairobi by road (5hrs). Overnight non-stop Kenya Airways flight arriving the following morning. (B)

Safaris are not recommended for children under 8 years, due to the road transfers and lack of children’s facilities. Only soft-sided luggage is permitted on safari due to space restrictions in the safari vehicle. Excess baggage can be left at your Nairobi hotel to be collected on return from your safari.
