Full Itinerary
Day 1 - Heathrow/Kilimanjaro
Overnight Kenyan Airways flight from Heathrow to Kilimanjaro via Nairobi.
Day 2 - Kilimanjaro/Arusha: Arrive in Kilimanjaro
Transfer to Arusha. Overnight at Serena Mountain Village. (D) For those arriving on the same day KLM flight via Amsterdam, evening transfer to Serena Mountain Village for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Arusha/Ngorongoro
Depart Arusha after lunch and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater (3.5hrs), a self-contained eco-system within the huge crater of an extinct volcano. Two nights at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. (B,L,D)
Day 4 - Ngorongoro:
Full-day game drive in the crater, with picnic lunch and chance to see the Big Five in this most spectacular of settings. (B,L,D)
Day 5 - Ngorongoro/Serengeti
Depart Ngorongoro for Serengeti and visit Olduvai enroute with picnic lunch at Naabi Hills (4.5hrs). Arrive at Serengeti Serena Lodge and enjoy your first game drive in the Serengeti. (B,L,D)
Day 6 - Serengeti:
Full-day game drives. Hot air balloon flights may be pre-booked at a cost of £267 per person, please ask for details. Overnight Serengeti Serena. (B,L,D)
Day 7 - Serengeti:
Full day game drives or an opportuntiy to relax and enjoy your safari lodge with a morning or afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.
Day 8 - Serengeti/Lake Manyara:
Drive to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge leaving the Serengeti. (5hrs). After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight in Lake Manyara National Park. (B,L,D)
Day 9 - Lake Manyara/Kilmanjaro/Heathrow (or your chosen regional airport):
Morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park and return to Arusha (2 hrs). Lunch and afternoon at leisure before transferring to Arusha airport for onward flight to Zanzibar or back to Kilimanjaro for flight home. (B,L)
