Day 1: Johannesburg
Upon arrival, transfer to the Park Inn Sandton for your overnight stay (RO).

Day 2: Johannesburg to Mpumalanga
Travel to Mpumalanga via the Panoramic Route. Late afternoon check-in at Perry's Bridge Hollow for two nights.(B,D)

Day 3: Mpumalanga
Depart on an open vehicle safari through the Kruger National Park. The afternoon is at leisure and you also have the option to go back to the park for an evening safari (not included in the tour price). (B,D)

Day 4: Mpumalanga to the Kingdom of Swaziland
Drive to the tiny Royal Kingdom of Swaziland for a showcase of the traditional Swazi culture, followed by lunch at the Matsamo Cultural Village. See glass craftsmen at work and spend some time at the Mbabane craft markets. Transfer to the Ezulwini Valley and check-in at the Royal Swazi Sun for your overnight stay. (B,L)

Day 5: Swaziland to KwaZulu Natal
After a morning visit to the Swazi Candle Factory, continue via Big Bend into KwaZulu Natal for a scenic drive up the Ubombo Mountains offering views over Lake Jozini. Visit a local authentic Zulu homestead before check-in at the Ghost Mountain Inn for two nights. (B,D)

Day 6: KwaZulu Natal
Full day of game driving in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, where the white rhino was saved from extinction. (B,D)

Day 7: KwaZulu Natal to Durban
Continue along the Elephant Coast to St Lucia for an estuarine boat trip to view crocodiles, hippos and numerous bird species. Move on to Durban and check-in at the Protea Hotel Edward for your overnight stay. (B)

Day 8: Durban to Port Elizabeth
Discover Durban during a city tour before your flight to Port Elizabeth (flight not included). Upon arrival transfer to the Radisson Blu Port Elizabeth Hotel for your overnight stay. (B)

Day 9: Port Elizabeth to Plettenberg Bay
Depart for the Tsitsikamma National Park. Enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge across the Storms River mouth gorge, then continue to Plettenberg bay and check-in at Hog Hollow Country Lodge for two nights. (B,D)

Day 10: Plettenberg Bay
Visit the Knysna Elephant Sactuary and interact with these gentle giants. Later, travel to Plettenberg Bay for a visit to the Birds of Eden, the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world. (B,D)

Day 11: Plettenberg Bay to Oudtshoorn
Proceed to an informative cruise up the Keurbooms River and continue to the lagoon side town of Knysna - the gem of the Garden Route. Enjoy time at leisure at the Knysna Waterfront Complex before travelling to Upon your return Oudtshoorn and visit a working ostrich farm for a guided tour. Overnight stay at De Opstal Country Lodge. Day 12: Oudtshoorn to Cape Town
Morning tour of the Cango Caves before travelling to Cape Town and checking in at the Pepper Club Hotel for three nights. (B)

Full day Cape Point & Peninsula Tour, passing beaches and picturesque coastal villages to the towering headland known as Cape Point. (B)

Drive a couple of hours out of Cape Town to the Cape Winelands, passing superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. (B)

After a morning city tour of Cape Town enjoy some free time before transferring back to the airport for your onward journey. (B)

We do not recommend this tour for children under 7 due to the long road transfers and lack of children's facilities. Visa conditions apply for Zwaziland and passports are required. Internal flights between Durban and Port Elizabeth are not included and will be added to your itinerary separately by your agent.
