Day 1 London Heathrow to Tokyo:
Overnight non-stop Virgin Atlantic flight to Tokyo.
Day 2 Tokyo:
Transfer by airport bus to your hotel for three nights .
Overnight accommodation - New Takanawa Prince Hotel. (RO)
Day 3 Tokyo:
Full day tour of Tokyo, enjoy the best panorama of the city from the Tokyo Tower then take in the peaceful Meiji Shrine and the Imperial Palace East Garden. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride to Asakusa Kannon Temple, a famous cultural landmark. Rest of the afternoon is at leisure to enjoy Tokyo's amazing shopping and lively bars.

Day 4 Tokyo:
Day at leisure to enjoy Tokyo at your own pace or you have the opportunity of joining one of our optional tours, highly recommended is the overnight tour of Hakone and Mount Fuji with a stay in a traditional 'ryokan'.

Day 5 Tokyo to Kyoto:
Proceed to the Shinagawa Station, 5 minutes from your hotel, to board the high-speed Bullet Train to Kyoto. Transfer on arrival to the Rihga Kyoto Hotel for two nights. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Kyoto on foot where you will explore the Higashiyama area, visiting sites including Kiyomizu Temple and the famous Gion District.

Day 6 Kyoto:
Another exciting morning of sightseeing which will take you by train to Nara, once the Imperial Capital. Discover the historical wonders of Todaiji and Kofukuji Temples before walking amongst tame deer in the beautiful Nara Park. After returning, the afternoon is spent at leisure, allowing you to explore the rest of Kyoto on foot. Recommended is a walk along the river to experience the relaxed pace of this fascinating city.

Day 7 Kyoto to London Heathrow:
Early morning transfer to Osaka Kansai airport for your flight to London Heathrow via Tokyo arriving the same day. Alternatively, you can choose to travel back by Bullet Train to Tokyo, taking in the beautiful scenery on the way. (RO)
