Day 1 London Heathrow to Nairobi:
Overnight non-stop Kenya Airways flight.
Day 2 Nairobi:
Transfer to the Safari Park Hotel for your overnight stay, optional excursions to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage or the Karen Blixen Museum with Giraffe Manor are also available, please ask for details.
Overnight accommodation - Safari Park Hotel.
Day 3 Narobi to Masai Mara National Reserve:
Leave Nairobi (4.5hrs/280km) after breakfast to travel towards Kenya's fertile highlands and head down the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. You'll pass the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as you head across the Valley to the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Afternoon game-drive. Two nights in the Mara Sopa Lodge. (B,L,D)
Overnight accommodation - Mara Sopa Lodge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 4 Masai Mara National Reserve:
Morning and afternoon game drives. Get a unique view of the Masai Mara from a hot-air balloon, flights can be booked from £284 per person. Please ask for details. (B,L,D) Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 5 Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru:
Early departure to Lake Nakuru (5hrs/315km). The waters here shimmer flamingo pink, with thousands of birds lining its shores. Afternoon game-drive and overnight in Lake Nakuru Lodge. (B,L,D) Breakfast.
Day 6 Rift Valley to Nairobi:
After breakfast depart the lodge to arrive in Nairobi (4.5hrs/280km) by lunchtime. (B)
