Day 1 - London Heathrow to Nairobi

Overnight non-stop Kenya Airways flight.

Day 2 - Nairobi

Upon arrival at the airport you will be met and transferred to the Nairobi Serena Hotel for overnight stay. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Overnight accommodation - Nairobi Serena Hotel.

Day 3 - Nairobi to Sweetwaters Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart for Wilson Airport for your flight to Nanyuki (10.20/11.00). Upon arrival you will be met by camp vehicle and transferred to Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary, followed by dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 4 - Nanyuki to Masai Mara

After breakfast, fly to the Masai Mara (09.45/10.45). Upon arrival transfer to the Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.

Overnight accommodation - Mara Serena Lodge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 5 - Masai Mara

Morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara, one of East Africa's most famous reserves. Game concentrations are at their greatest between July and October, when the vast plains are filled with migrating wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, in addition to the usual resident herds of elephant, buffallo and giraffe and prides of lion, hyena and cheetah.

Overnight accommodation - Mara Serena Lodge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 6 - Masai Mara to Serengeti

After an early breakfast, depart by road for the Isebania border between Kenya and Tanzania with a picnic lunch (approx. 3 hours). From here you will be met by a new guide and transferred to the Serengeti Serena Lodge for your two night stay with game viewing en-route (approx. 5 hours).

Day 7 - Serengeti

Morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti, famous for its endless plains and home to striking granite outcrops.

Overnight accommodation - Serengeti Serena Lodge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 8 - Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro Crater, viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains. Arrive at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge in time for lunch (and two nights stay) before visiting a Masai Village.

Overnight accommodation - Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 9 - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, descend through the early morning mists 2000 feet into the Ngorongoro crater for game viewing. Ngorongoro Crater is the World's largest intact volcanic caldera and the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. Early afternoon you will leave the crater and return to the lodge for lunch. The remainder of the day is spent at leisure.

Overnight accommodation - Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 10 - Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara via Mto wa Mbu village where you will take a walk combining culture and nature of the Rift Valley arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park followed by dinner and overnight at the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 11 - Lake Manyara to Arusha

Depart after breakfast through the fascinating escarpment of the Rift Valley to Arusha for your onwards flight. Breakfast.
