Day 1 - London Heathrow to Nairobi
Overnight non-stop Kenya Airways flight.
Day 2 - Nairobi
Upon arrival into Nairobi, you will be met and transferred to the Sarova Stanley Hotel for overnight stay. Afternoon at leisure. Optional excursions to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage or the Karen Blixen Museum with Giraffe Manor are also available, please ask for details.

Day 3 - Nairobi to Shaba
Head north after an early breakfast, pass near Thika and continue through some breathtaking scenery. After Nanyuki town, you'll continue north, eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo. From here it's a fairly short hop to the Sarova Shaba Lodge, for your two nights stay, in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Shaba
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Time to relax at the lodge before an afternoon game drive. (B,L,D)

Day 5 - Shaba to Lake Nakuru
Travel south from Shaba crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya. Here you'll head west to Nyahururu, still known to many as Thomson's Falls for its 237 foot cascade. Continue south to Lake Nakuru Lodge. Once in the park, there will be a game drive en-route to the lodge. Following lunch, there is an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge for sunset. (B,L,D)

Day 6 - Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
After an early morning breakfast leave the flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru for Njoro town, where you begin your ascent up over the top of the Mau Escarpment. Then travel towards Narok, the gateway to the Masai Mara. You'll travel across the 'breadbasket' of Kenya, covered with acres of wheat and barley, before you reach the Sarova Mara Camp, for two nights, in time for lunch. Following lunch there is an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge for sunset. (B,L,D)

Day 7 - Masai Mara
Early morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara. Hot air balloon flights may be pre-booked at a cost of £359 per person, please ask for details. (B,L,D)

Day 8 - Masai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara for Nairobi, arriving around midday. (B) Breakfast.
