Days 1-2 - UK to Chicago
Spend time in the Windy City exploring the Magnificent Mile shops. On day 2, enjoy a morning briefing at your hotel to receive your full itinerary and driving directions before you hit the road.

Day 3 – Chicago to St. Louis (300 miles)
Travel through the Illinois farmland to St. Louis with its stunning Gateway Arch.
Overnight accommodation - 1 nt - La Quinta St Louis (or similar) RO.
Day 4 – St. Louis to Springfield (210 miles)
Leave the Mississippi River behind and onto Springfield, arguably the birthplace of Route 66.

Day 5 – Springfield to Tulsa and Oklahoma City (310 miles)
Your drive takes you through the lands of the Native American's and later the cowboys and outlaws.

Day 6 – Oklahoma City to Amarillo (260 miles)
See the lands that the Cheyenne and Arapaho Indians once inhabited, then onto Amarillo, land self made millionaires.

Days 7-8 - Amarillo to Alberquerque (270 miles)
Absorb the history in the great museums or spend some time in one of the great local spas.

Day 9 – Albuquerque to Santa Fe and Albuquerque (116 miles)
Take in some of the great American Outdoors visiting the Santa Fe National Forest.
Day 10 – Albuquerque to Holbrook (260 miles)
Visit the Petrified Forest National Park with its stunning scenery.

Day 11 – Holbrook to Grand Canyon National Park (180 miles)
Drive west on Route 66 then north to the Grand Canyon.

Continue through the Mojave Desert into Las Vegas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Days 14 - 15 - Las Vegas to Los Angeles (290 miles)
Soak up the sun, visit Universal Studios or head into the amazing neighbourhoods of Beverly Hills, Malibu and Bel Air.

Day 16 – Los Angeles to UK
Head back to LAX airport for your flight home.
