The village of Grand Anse is a short walk down the beach and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to nearby Cote d'Or Beach, which is popular between May and October when the beach at Indian Ocean Lodge may be affected by seaweed.

Spacious standard rooms are located in 8 chalets scattered around the grounds. All are sea-facing with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, four poster double beds, telephone, hairdryer, safe, tea & coffee making facilities and mini-fridge, terrace and bathroom with shower. A number of rooms interconnect making this a good hotel for those with families.
