It is ideal if you want to get away from it all - to reach the nearest shops, markets, bars and restaurants you'll need to take a taxi. Designed by the architect Geoffrey Bawa, tropical gardens, ponds and swimming pools fed by cascading waterfalls weave through the resort adding to the tranquillity.
