Holidays in Yellowstone
The first National Park in the world, Yellowstone National Park has breathtaking views and spectacular features throughout. Watch Old Faithful spout over 5,000 gallons of water 130 feet into the air, up to 20 times daily. Visit Minerva terraces, where 500 gallons of water a minute bring two tons of limestone to the surface each day, forming an ornately carved staircase. Observe Moose Falls, where Crawfish Creek tumbles down the plateau into a canyon, channelled by jutting lava rocks. Visit Yellowstone's own Grand Canyon of ever-changing coloured rock, from black through lavender hues, to orange and the yellow, which gives Yellowstone National Park its name.
