Holidays in Kennebunkport
For centuries the historic town of Kennebunkport has been a ship building mecca and today a strong connection with the open waters is still felt. Historically known for being a ship building and fishing village Kennebunkport soon developed a reputation as a summer haven for the wealthy; the former president Bush family are still in regular residence. Over the years many sea captains have built fine masions in the area and these are still preserved today as lovely inns with antique charm.
