Holidays in Zion
This massive National Park is an assault on the senses, with a surreal landscape of domes, fins and monoliths carved out of sandstone. Due to its size, you'll need to explore this impressive park by car, and marvel at the sights from your window. Zion Canyon soars at 2,000 ft above the valley below, and tucked among the rocks are gardens, pools and shaded spots from the summer heat - it's hard to believe that 85% of the state's flora and fauna are here! Most tourists stick to Zion Canyon, but the Kolob Plateau is no less spectacular, with red rock cliffs shooting out of the earth.
