Migration: The greatest wildlife show on earth! Each year thousands of wildebeest and zebra migrate as the seasons change in search of greener pastures. Dates can be unpredictable but the migration usually moves through the Northern plains of the Serengeti between May and July.
Zanzibar: Head to the beautiful white sand archipelago of Zanzibar. Steeped in the colour, flavour and history of the past, the 'Spice Islands' are the Indian Ocean's best kept secret, offering you an idyllic beach retreat and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Stone Town.
Diving: Tanzania has some world class reefs and diving is offered at many hotels along the coast and on the islands of Zanzibar. Most reefs are also accessible to snorkellers.
Mount Kilimanjaro: The highest peak in Africa, it takes an average of 5 days to climb to the summit - but the views are out of this world!

Although Tanzania enjoys warm temperatures year round, if you are on safari the best time to go is between June and July when the annual migration if wildebeest and zebra make their way through the Northern Serengeti plains.

The most popular months are January to February and June to October. The latter coinciding with the annual migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara in Kenya.

Climate
Tanzania has a tropical climate with warm temperatures all year round.
