The islands are also home to the smallest frog to the heaviest and prehistoric looking land tortoise in the world.

Coral Reefs:
With an abundance of colourful coral reefs housing interesting species such as Hawksbill Sea Turtles, Lion Fish, Parrot Fish, Bat Fish and so many other exotic and tropical marine creatures, it truly is a divers and snorkelers heaven.

Best Time to Go

Between April and September are the best time to visit the Seychelles. The rain fall isn't as heavy and temperatures still high. Generally the weather in the Seychelles doesn't alter too much through out the year making it an ideal destination any time.

Most Popular

Most people choose to visit the Seychelles between October to March de to the warmer temperatures.

Hottest

The Seychelles enjoys  warm tropical weather year round, with temperatures averaging 28 to 31ºC. The coolest months are June to October whilst the hottest are November to April.

Climate

The Seychelles experiences a steady climate through out the year with high temperatures and regular rainfall, keeping this tropical island lush and green. The summer months are on average 2ºC cooler but the high is still 29ºC, the rainfall tends to be lighter.

Direct Carriers: There are no direct flights to the Seychelles from the UK.

Indirect Carriers: Air Seychelles offers a twice weekly service via Europe, Emirates via Dubai, Qatar Airways via Doha and Air France via Paris.

Departure Taxes: An international departure tax of USD40 must be paid when departing the Seychelles.

Visa information
