Holidays in Cuzco
Many people only visit Cuzco, the ancient Inca capital, as a launch pad for the magnificent Machu Picchu, but this striking and intriguing city also has a lot to offer, with colonial churches, monasteries and squares interspersed with the remains of Inca walls, arches and doorways. Cuzco has its own local historical sites such as Sacsayhuaman, Ollantaytambo and Pisac, with the Sacred Valley just an hour away.
