Ranging from a beginners level to a Championship level, Le Touessroks golf course stands out from the rest. Designed by Bernard Langer on a private island, you can take in the breath taking views from the fairway, whilst enjoying the challenge of the 9 lakes and tricky shots. All of the courses have pros on hand for tips or private lessons.

Shopping: Enjoy bartering for leather, pottery, jewellery, spices, vanilla, tea and rum. One of the main industries on the island is textiles and clothes are a great buy and excellent value from the stylish boutiques of Grand Baie to the craft market of Port Louis.

If you are looking for sunny days on the beach and least chances of rain, with great diving opportunities head to Mauritius between December to April. The markets of Grand Baie are alive with bargains to be had and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean are more inviting than ever.

Most people choose to visit Mauritius during the months of December to April so they can take full advantage of the warmer temperatures and plenty of activities available with little chances of rain. The north and south of the island have so much to offer from golfing, diving and open air markets that run year round.

Hottest

Mauritius enjoys warm tropical weather year round, with temperatures averaging 22 to 32ºC. The coolest months are May to October whilst the hottest are December to April.

Climate

Mauritius has two seasons summer and winter. As a tropical island rain is common, but sometimes showers can last for an hour late afternoon and dry up very quickly. With temperatures in the summer months of December to April reaching 32ºC. The northern and eastern coastal areas are relatively warmer and drier than the southern and eastern coasts.
