Holidays in Bahamas

You can do as little or as much as you like on your holiday to the Bahamas, with more than 700 islands and 2500 cays, the main resorts offer refined Caribbean taste with casinos, luxury yachts, fine dining and golf courses. Colourful clapboard houses contrast with colonial charm and outside the towns you will find fishing wharves full of character and an easy pace of life.

City slickers, families, water lovers, and land lovers alike will find no shortage of fun on a Bahamas holiday. With water temperatures averaging about 80°F year round throughout The Bahamas, water sports are naturally a popular activity. Throw on a swimsuit, grab a towel and explore the emerald green, turquoise, and crystal-blue waters one sport at a time, and with exceptional visibility and thousands of coral reefs, Bahamas holidays are the perfect choice for diving and snorkelling. Boat trips, cruising, submarine voyages; cycling, golf and safari seaplanes are among other trendy pursuits.

Once the sun goes down, the fun continues on Paradise Island. Casinos and nightclubs keep you entertained well into the evening with a variety of live shows, dancing, and music, including a taste of live Junkanoo music ? The Bahamian music of choice. Seafood is king here with conch as the main speciality, prepared minced, marinated, grilled or fried in batter. Lobster, crab, grouper and snapper are regular menu features, usually served with fried plantains, pumpkin and sweet potato. When you travel to the Bahamas, you'll be greeted with a really friendly welcome wherever you go.
